KOSTOLAC (Serbia): A woman takes a picture of the finely preserved skeleton of Vika’, a female mammoth, which lived over a million years ago. Serbian archaeologists discovered in 2012 the remains of at least seven mammoths at a dig at an open pit mine. In 2009 the bones of Vika were found at the same site.
