Shahdi Afridi emotional Message After Injured
Shahid Afridi confirmed via a video message that he will not be able to participate in the final, as he injured his finger. Karachi: Star Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi expressed his regret for not being able to play in the final of the Pakistan Super League, on Sunday.
Afridi, who recently announced his retirement form international cricket, helped his franchise reach the final of the PSL. However, the 37-year-old maverick confirmed via a video message that he will not be able to participate in the final, as he injured his finger while taking a catach against the Karachi Kings in a qualifier for the final.
“I really wanted to go to Lahore and play the PSL final. But I’m sorry, I cannot play as the doctors have asked me to rest for 10 days,” said Afridi. The PSL final, which is set to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, will be the first big cricketing event to take place in Pakistan in almost a decade, after a group of terrorists attacked a bus full of Sri Lankan cricketers in 2008.
