KARACHI: At least seven people including three of the same family were killed during last 24 hours in different areas of the metropolis.

Bodies with torture marks of two men were recovered from a sewerage line in Ibrahim Goth in the limit of Mauripur police station. According to police sources, the deceased were subjected to severe torture and later, shot in their heads.

The largely decomposed bodies are beyond recognition. However, police got the fingerprints from the bodies of the deceased.

Another body, nearly two days old, was recovered from Manghopir.

A firing incident claimed life of a man in Lyari area of Daryabad.

Some gunmen, barging into the house of Haqdan Khan, recklessly sprayed bullets, killing him and his two sons, Sultan and Yousuf. A man was critically injured in the incident.
