LAHORE: Women cadets of the Rescue 1122 Service from Gilgit-Baltistan demonstrated their professional skills at a passing out ceremony at the Emergency Services Academy here on Friday. Eighteen women cadets have completed training at the academy and are ready to return to serve the people in Skardu and GB. They were trained to carry out rescue work in the event of natural calamity, fire and other emergencies. The ceremony was attended by Rescue Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer and Director General of Rescue 1122 GB Dr Sher Aziz. Since the start of Rescue 1122 service in GB. 186 men from the region have also obtained training from the academy.
