Qamar Zaman Kaira Govt, Imran showing stubbornness 2014-15
LAHORE: Former federal information minister and PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to set up a five-member committee to initiate negotiations with protesting parties.
Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Kaira said all stakeholders will have to accept the recommendations of the committee.
He said all the demands made by Imran Khan except the resignation of Prime Minister, are justifiable. He said that Imran Khan and government were showing stubbornness.
To a question, Kaira said that the age of democracy in Pakistan was just 10 and a half year.
“The threat of government’s ouster is not over yet,” he opined.
Responding to another question, he denied Khursheed Shah made any demand for mid-term elections.
