President Javed Hashmi claimed competing with govt in by-polls
MULTAN: PTI President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi claimed on Monday that his party was competing neck and neck with the government in every by-election.
In a statement issued here, he said their victory in Hafizabad gave a clear message to the government that people of the country had confidence in its leadership. “In the past, PTI candidates were defeated through rigging,” he claimed.
He appealed to the government to provide a due share of resources to underdeveloped areas of South Punjab. He lamented that hurdles were being created in construction of an agriculture university in the region.
