Muslimface Social Networking Site, Muslim Facebook alternate
The initial phase of a new Islamic inspired social networking site was launched. Muslim Facebook, a website inspired by Islamic values and Sharia-compliant beta has started with over a thousand users supposedly private testing site.
Co-founder of the UK-based entrepreneur Shoaib Shoaib Rohail Fadie and hopes the site to provide a kid-friendly online experience. “The social platform is an international project,” said Fadie. “It is designed from a Muslim point of view, but also opens up new possibilities with the rest of the world. It is basically a network of Muslims by Muslims of the world presents.”
Targeted for users 13 years and more, the site will expand to include versions in several languages, including English, Arabic, Urdu, Bahasa (Indonesia and Malaysia) and Turkish.
Shoaib hopes that the sites serves as “online Majlis” where ideas are shared between generations, in addition to a platform “enables a new generation of Muslims in inspiring leader to grow.”
