ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has no record of ballot papers of 139 constituencies, a senior officer revealed on Wednesday.

After passing of one year since the May 11 general election, ECP has not received details of ballot papers from returning officers.

Speaking to SAMAA, a senior officer of the ECP disclosed that returning officers had not sent Form 15, which shows details of consumed and unused ballot papers.

Out of these 139 constituencies, 70 are in Punjab, 32 are in Sindh, 19 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 8 are in Balochistan.

Former Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim had pledged that details of Form 15 would be uploaded on ECP’s office.
