An advertising executive in a freak elevator mishap Wednesday killed at a Madison Avenue office building, police and fire officials said.
The accident occurred at 10 clock in a 26-story office tower near Grand Central Terminal, which was the longtime home of advertising agency Y & R, formerly known as Young & Rubicam has known.
Officials said Hart was on the elevator on the first floor step if either the foot or leg was trapped in the past doors. The car rose abruptly and then pulled her body in the shaft and kill them, officials said.
The elevator was then stuck between the first and second floor. Two people who were on the elevator were evaluated in a hospital for mental trauma are transferred, but not physically injured, Fire Department officials said.
Investigators with the fire brigade, the police and the building department of the city were on the scene in Midtown Manhattan.
