Ishaq Dar dubs Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf view on judicial commission illogical 2015
ISLAMABAD: Ishaq Dar, Federal Finance Minister termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) view “illogical” on formation of judicial commission to probe alleged rigging in general elections.
Dar, who is government’s key negotiator to resolve prevailing political stalemate with PTI, said that the government has dispatched a detailed reply to Jahangir Tareen’s letter.
He said that the government’s reply highlighted weaknesses in claims made by the opposition party.
“Tehreek-e-Insaf is backing out from its previous point of view on proposed judicial commission,” the finance minister claimed.
He also alleged that PTI wanted to save itself from getting exposed.
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI General Secretary Jahangit Tareen had written a letter to Ishaq Dar, informing the government about terms of references (TORs) proposed by the party.
