Hilarious video wife Recorded By Husband
Curtis Vey’s wife Brigitte planted a recording device under a table when she suspected her husband was cheating on her, a jury heard Tuesday as the murder conspiracy trial of two rural Saskatchewan lovers got underway.
Vey and Angela Nicholson are accused of plotting to kill their spouses. Each is charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder Brigitte Vey and Jim Taylor. The trial is expected to last two weeks.
What Brigitte Vey learned from the hidden device shocked her: not only was her husband unfaithful, but the recorded conversation went into “great detail” about a plan for her to die in a house fire, Crown prosecutor Lori O’Connor told the jury during her opening statement.
Vey and Nicholson were arrested in July 2013 when police were notified about the recording. O’Connor told court the taped conversation also included details about drugging and killing Taylor. Nicholson and Taylor had been separated since 2009, according to an agreed statement of facts presented at the trial.
