KARACHI: Police claimed on Monday, a man on camera, killing a factory manager earlier this month in the buffer zone when he refused to pay protection money was taken prisoner arrested.

At a press conference said the DIG that the suspect was involved December 2014 killing of Dr. Arif Mustafa Siddiqi, a senior medical officer at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

“He went to only Rs2,000 to collect as protection money, but killed payable manager Saleemuddin when he refused,” he said. “We collected evidence from the crime scene that contain the key CCTV recordings that led to his identification.”

The DIG said that the suspect allegedly involved in collection of protection money from industrial facilities and professionals in New Karachi and buffer zone.

The cooling 50-second recordings showed first the suspect, armed with a pistol, arguing with the victim. The two were joined by other factory workers but they disappeared when the debate was heated.

The scary part of the footage has been in the last 10 seconds when the suspect while the manager, fired a single shot, apparently hit him in the stomach and he fell. The attacker walked away, but returned in only two balls in the wounded to pump.

The killer left, but came back and fired another shot in the head at point blank range and then escape.

The recordings, originally recorded by researchers went viral on social media sites. This actually helped the Gabol city police to arrest the alleged killer in Bengali Para in New Karachi, the DIG said.

“His two accomplices – Ahmed and Anwar – who were waiting outside the factory at the time of the incident are still at large, but we are confident that we will also arrest These three men are also in the assassination of Dr. Arif Mustafa Siddiqi. involved in December 2014 for the same reason, extortion, “he said.

“We have so far been pursued four cases of killings executed by these three men one or the other way. One of the four murders was that of a policeman in North Karachi Industrial Area, as the three men ambushed a police cell phone when it tries to stop them snap-examination. ”
