Peshawar:  A man was caught selling fake aid collection forms in the area of Safaid Dheri in Peshawar. The man was using Imran Khan’s name, going door to door to collect money from the residents, but MPA Fazal Ilahi arrived on the scene and caught him red handed along with his companions.

According  to reports, PTI member and KPK MPA Fazal Ilahi received a call on Wednesday from Khalid Khalil, the party president of Safaid Dheri who informed him that a man named Kamran was selling financial aid forms door to door in their area along with two women companions on behalf of Imran Khan.

MPA  Fazal Ilahi arrived on the scene following this information with local police officers and caught the man red handed. The fake forms and money were taken into custody and presented in front of the DC Peshawar. The criminal informed the police that his name was Kamran and he hailed from Sarband but an identity card found in his pocket betrayed his real name as Tawwab Gul belonging to the area of Tehkal.

During preliminary investigation the man said that he was the owner of a local NGO and was collecting aid for blood cancer patients. DC Peshawar took all the evidence into custody and directed SHO of Tehkal to register an FIR against the accused. The people whose money had been taken were directed to contact the SHO of Tehkal police station and further investigation will be done on the matter.
