Asad Umar dismissed claims that Islamabad sit-ins
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has dismissed claims that Islamabad sit-ins are hurting Pakistan’s economy.
Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Umar said: “I challenge Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to prove the economic losses at any forum.” He said that investment is attracted through conducive environment in the country, not by making foreign tours.
To a question, he said that there was consensus on four demands. “On definition of rigging, we realised that government’s intention was not good,” he added.
